Desperate-"cat in the hat" hat

My daughter's teacher is a dr seus fanatic and has a huge collection in the classroom.He doesn't have a "cat in the hat"hat.So my dh would like me to make him one for christmas.

I can't find a pattern anywhere,and with all the other christmas presents to be finished i really don't have time to sit and try and work one out.

If anyone has seen one i'd really appreciate the help.Free or to buy,it doesn't matter.

i would think you could just make a flat round piece .. then work down in the stripes.. and then work the brim
