I need help with this yarn please

I got this yarn today and I need help. I am not used to working with stuff like this..I get annoyed in a hurry, but the color matches 2 of my girls outfits. What I need to know is hook size ( I know saince it is thinner it will be differant than what I am use to) and pattern help for 2 toddler hats (ages 2 and 3) that I can follow with this yarn.

the yarn looks quite lumpy, if i get a yarn like that and i find it really frustrating to crochet, i tend to use it alongside another straightforward plain yarn in either a similar or contrasting colour and for some reason i find that easier to crochet with. well if use 2 strands then it wont match my outfit lol.

Can you pull a small strand out so we can see the strand width and consistency?

Nobo - yummy yarn. I would use an I or J hook for this yarn.

Usually even NoBo gives a hook size suggestion on the wrapper. It definitely looks very bulky. I would try an I or a J.

OK thanks. I was thinking this pattern and I already use and H for their size when I do this pattern.
