Can anyone come up with the pattern for this scarf?

I came across this scarf on EBAY, actually 2 of them, and was wondering if anyone can come up with a pattern for them. I am a very good crocheter but not very good at coming up with patterns. The first link is my favorite.

I liked the star stitch pattern and I like Dot's petal stitch. What I did on my last project was only TR stitch and then chain 4....hard to explain and it was light and airy.

 

I can't explain things very well.....*grrrrr*

 

 

In other words...the star stitch in WW is too light and the petal stitch is too heavy for what I wanted, so I simply increased the star stitch and chained on the over stitches while keeping with the idea of the petal stitch. Make nonsense?
