I moved from Whitby four years ago into Toronto.

You will meet lots of nice folks here, though. The folks here are so willing to share their knowledge.

I did the exact opposite! I lived in Toronto for years and then we came here a couple of years ago to settle down with our babe. It is a total bedroom community here! I find if you want to do anything you have to go to the city. I am hoping I can get something started close to home!

It could count. I am not entirely sure where Clarington is. The unfortunate part is that I am now moving to Texas at the beginning of January.

Bowmanville, to be specific - Clarington encompasses Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle and some hamlets north of town.

 

Sorry to hear you're leaving us, though - although Texas is quite a bit warmer in January than Whitby is. I don't imagine you'll be getting much lake effect there
