farmer's market vs. craft fairs

target="_new"><span style="font-family:courier; color:fuchsia;font-size:large;">I'm trying to decide between craft fairs or getting a stand at our local farmer's market.Has anybody done one or both.I'd like opinions and any advice for getting started would reallybe appreciated.I'm doing mostly shawls and poncho's right now,but i do have a few kitchen sets and baby items done .

i do the farmers market here and i also take special orders.. i have a few things on consignment at some of the local shops here as well .. i like the market because i pay a certain fee to be there all year and a small weekly fee... the craft fairs to me are always hit or miss and there isnt a set fee.. one could be 35 dollars and the next one could cost you 95.. so i guess it depends on what you are really looking for as far as a business venture.. i like the market also because ppl know where to find me every week
