I'm not exactly sure where people are buying these things (I don't do clothes shopping much, can ya tell? ), but I took my kids into town to do some shopping today, and OMG!!! I swear, every time I turned around there was somebody with something crocheted on! Mostly tops and sweaters/jackets, but I was absolutely flabbergasted to see so many crocheted items in a country where people look at me like I've grown a second head when I speak the word "crochet.":eek

Ive used the park and ride in Swansea 4 times in the last week and each time there has been a woman sitting in front of me on the bus (a different one each time) wearing a crocheted cardigan/shrug/top of some description.

 

I was early for work today too so i walked through town and every clothing shop has crocheted things in there. I might actually be in fashion for once in my life!
