Question
Lisaizme
Hope everyone's weekend is proceeding well.
I seem to be diverting into foreign or old patterns (fortunately not foreign
AND old at the same time!) and have run across somethings that google just can't help me figure out.
1) what would be the modern equivalent to "plastic crochet hook, size 5"
(from a vintage US pattern) I THINK this is a size G hook, but I'm just not
sure.
2) what is the American equivalent to " sold in the UK as 'dishcloth cotton'
" (from a pattern written by a gal living in the UK ) I dont think this
would be Peaches N Creme or Sugar N Creme.. because this is a pattern for a snug fitting cap. EDIT: This pattern specifies a size 2.5 hook (size c?) END EDIT.
Thanks for any feedback. (this was also posted to the CrochetPartners mailing list.. Hope that doesn't qualify as a cross-post. My apologies if so).
