Cardigan pattern wanted

Jo19

Question

I've got the perfect cardigan knitting pattern (Sirdar 5988 - http://www.mavis-crafts.com/scripts/large.php?name=images/Sirdar/5988.jpg&price=1.90&units=30&make=Sirdar+Country+Style+DK+Leaflet&type=Patterns&title=Country%20Style%20DK%20Womens%20Leaflet&return=www.mavis-crafts.com/Patterns/CountryStyleDK.php).

I'm desperate for the exact same style, but in crochet (even Tunisian if it's available, but no matter). It's quite a round low-necked cardi, with set in sleeves, and one top button. I've seen similar patterns (and a few were kindly pm'd to me which were similar, but not quite suitable - thanks!). The yarn gauge should take a 4.5 mm hook (F5 US, 8 UK).

Can anyone help please?

Jo

Hi Jo

Sorry I can't help with the pattern request, but have you tried looking at http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/? They have some pretty cardis, though rather shorter than the Sirdar one, and very usefully each design has a schematic so you can adapt it to your own preferred yarn/gauge/stitch pattern.

Just want to mention: the F5 US hook is 3.75mm, not 4.50mm, to avoid confusion. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Sorry about the hook size! I took that straight from the ball-band - I'll remember to check for myself next time.

Thanks for the link too - I'll go peek to see if I can find something that suits my yarn :D
