Petra Thread ??

Is anyone familar with DMC's Petra Thread? Couldn't find it on DMC US site, so perhaps it isn't marketed there. I think it is a European thread, possibly French.

 

It is (supposedly) available in Australia is #5 and #8 but haven't managed to make contact with a seller as yet.

 

I would like to know how shiny it is - very, like Perle, or just a sheen like Cebelia. It's hard to tell from the photos.

Thankyou, Gran. DMC US, in their wisdom, forward all Australian enquiries to their agents here who, in turn, pass on the enquiry to the crochet expert (the manager's husband's mother - who, on past experience, doesn't seem to read, or perhaps even get, the initial enquiry).

 

I'm hoping to find someone who has at least seen the thread and, hopefully, used it.
