Last month's Harper's Bazaar/Chanel crochet bag

In the February Harper's Bazaar, there's a feature on "the right shoe with the right bag" featuring a navy blue crocheted Chanel purse. I don't know the right words for purses but it's like a small foldover envelope with a navy leather strap securing the foldover (and displaying the Chanel interlocked "C"s), with an interwoven leather-and-metal strap. It's not to my taste (don't like gold or logoes) but hey, it's high-end, high-fashion crochet.

I will try to get to it this weekend. My old scanner fritzed and I haven't bothered to learn the features on my new all-in-one (in fact, I'm not even sure if it's a scanner -- how lazy am I? I just wanted a cheap printer), so I may end up just taking a detailed close-up picture of the page.

 

But, I will do it!

PS. FWIW, I noticed when I actually read the magazine that all the Dolce and Gabbana ads have jackets with thread crochet trim on the sleeves. Looked awfully pretty. And wearable, for D&G.
