How much shrinkage?

I am making a felted diaper bag. I made a small tote for a friend with one ball, but I didn't really care how much it shrunk.

I want the finished bag to measure approximately 15-16" square and 5-6" deep. I was wondering if anyone has a formula for approximately how much it will shrink in length and width.

I don't think there is a formula -It really depends on a few things the wool, the stitch used, the size of hook etc -The best way to check is to make a sample swatch and shrink. Make sure you share your pictures when you re done. And be careful Fulling is addictive:devil
