Made a hairpin lace fork

I've been intrigued lately by hairpin lace but couldn't find a fork at my local stores. I made my own with polymer eraser clay and knitting needles. :cheer I rolled out 2 snakes of clay and slightly flattened them then made holes every 1/2 inch with knitting needle. (I knew those needles would come in handy some day). When it was baked I was able to slide the needles in any distance apart. The eraser clay has just enough give to hold them securely, but is firm enough to hold the whole thing. I don't have a digital camera so I can't share a picture. I hope my description makes sense.
