Crocheting in a Post

Well, I happen to be working a pattern right now that involves front post double crochet, so I went over and whipped up a little swatch of single crochet and working the post was the same as working it in a double crochet... just a shorter post.

If you are unfamiliar with working the post it goes something like this: insert the hook from front to back into the space below and in front of where you would normally put the next stitch, then bring the hook out from back to front in the space after that (that's the post) then work your stitch as you would if you had gone into the 'normal' spot had you just been working the top, continue on until end of row, project is done, or end of time:eek

Hope this helps
