even though i literally have done crochet work since 1949
i am having difficulty working with two boxes of antique crochet thread (50) i bought from an antique dealer. keeping the filet spaces exactly the same size while working, keeping the thread from twisting, and blocking the work (with even spaces, perpendicular sides, etc.) is a nightmare.
