What's the difference?

Silly question, I know, but.......what is the difference between an afghan and a comfortghan? I've never heard the expression 'comfortghan' before.

A comfortghan is basically the same thing as an afghan, but I take it that a comfortghan is given to someone at a time in their lives when they need comforting. Usually a bunch of different people contribute a square and the person in charge just sews them together and gives it to the person intended for. Kinda like getting a big hug from all the people who helped make it...
