Hello!

For a Christmas present, I received some really fantastic Irish wool from Ireland that is a deep green speckled color. It is in a huge hank and I need the perfect pattern for it. How do I know how much is there, as it is not labelled, and what do I make that won't be too trendy or flashy? There is a lot of it and it is awesome! Help!

I think by weighing it you can probably find a pattern, or a way to convert it.

I'd take it to the PO and weigh it on their scale, then you can have a metric and American weight.

If you have enough, a nice cardigan won't ever go out of style, or if not enough, maybe a scarf and hat?

Some of CrochetGarden's reversable hat and scarf sets would be PERFECT for Irish wool, since the Irish are really into heavily textured designs.
