Blocking Boucle

One last question before presents are done, then I'll stop pestering you all.

 

I'm making something with boucle that has a lot of shells which are puffing up & looking bumpy. When I lay it out and run my hand over it, they're nice & smooth. So . . . should I block it to keep them flat? How would I block boucle?

I block my boucle items ... then again I block just about everything The method I use is to lay a clean sheet over my bed, lay the item on the sheet, steam it with my steam iron a section at a time (I don't let the iron actually touch the item, I just steam it well), stretch it into shape, pin it and let it dry.
