Quick Wedding crochet ideas needed

My brother is getting married. :jumpyay And it could be soon, his fiance's father is unfortunetly dying from cancer so we could have a New Year wedding. To say the least we are thrilled. A friend crocheted all (and I mean ALL ) of the flowers for her wedding, I am not doing that but I would like to make something for them. Is there anything that was made for you or that you made for someone you thought stood out? I am in the prosess of making an afghan but of course I have to put more pressure on myself . Thank You.
