Ripple Afghan in Museum!

I was at the Indiana State Museum this past weekend and up in the more "recent history" section, there was a wall full of household items (including my parent's old blender which my sister-in-law had used that morning to make sauce in!) which included a crocheted ripple afghan in (I think) pink and brown (?).

 

As there was a lot of other stuff from my childhood up there (Smurfette, Star Wars action figures, etc.), it was just kind of odd to see all that in a museum!
