I need help with a pattern

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to crochet a hat for my daughter. I am following a pattern that I found in simply creative crochet . I am stuck on part of Rnd 4: I dont understand what I need to do at this point. This is what the patterns says.

 

 

Rnd4: ch1, (sc in each of next sc, 2sc in next sc) around - 24 sc; join.

Cont to inc in this manner, working 1 more sc before inc for 4 more rnds - 48 sts; join.

 

Can someone help with the part that I have highlighted.

This is how I interpret it:

(the original as posted) - ch1, (sc in each of next sc, 2sc in next sc) around

The next round would be: ch1, (sc in each of next 2 sc sts, 2 sc in next sc) around

Followed by: ch1, (sc in each of next 3 sc sts, 2 sc in next sc) around

Followed by: ch1, (sc in each of next 4 sc sts, 2 sc in next sc) around

Followed by: ch1, (sc in each of next 5 sc sts, 2 sc in next sc) around
