In the dryer?

I'm a felting maniac these days, making lots of smallish bags for holiday gifts. I'm also working on two larger bags for very special people (my mom & my godmother).

 

I just took my godmother's bag out of the washer and it looks great (IMO). It's drying now over a contraption I rigged up to give the square bottom some more shape. But I wonder, after I feel that it's gotten some shape, can I throw it in the dryer, on the air fluff cycle, just to get the last of the water out? I'm so impatient when it comes to my felting projects & I really want to see this one finally finished.

I have, and it didn't hurt my piece at all... but I also used LB Fisherman's which some have deemed unfullable.

 

I guess the worst that could happen is it could shrink more, so I'd keep a close eye on it.

I have thrown felted items in the dryer on the "air only" cycle with no problems, once they were partially dry.
