Hi

 

My title on my blog page shows up in white for a second then disappears. Does anyone know why that is happening?

It shows for a second because the entire background is grey. Your header then loads and both it and your text are white thus making the text 'invisiable'.

You need to change the color of one.

To change the header, look for this:

 

#blog-header h1 {

margin: 0;

padding: 45px 60px 50px 160px;

font-size: 200%;

color: #fff;

text-shadow: #81A75B 2px 2px 2px;

 

 

Where it says #fff, change that to #83B362

That will make it the same dark green as your top bar.

 

Or to change your title text, look for this:

 

code {

color: #f63;

 

hr {

display: crochetbypauline;

 

Change #f63 to #83B362. Again it'll be the dark green of your top bar.

 

Of course you can choose any other color to replace those. However in my opinion those will go best with your layout.
