Hi everyone!

Leisa M Lucas

Recommended Posts

My name is Leisa Lucas. I taught myself to crochet the basic stitches. My Mom crocheted, left handed. I'm right handed. She would not try to teach me so I got a book.

I really started getting seriously involved in crocheting about 12yr ago. Once a lady told me about chaining at the end of a row (according to the stitch) to keep the edge straight, I haven't stopped. I've used yarn & recently started using thread. I've worked on big grapphgan squares, toboggans, scarfs, baby blankets, lapgans, amigurumi, bookmarks & filet patterns.

I like doing new techniques & stitches. But I saw this pic on fb & can't figure out the stitch. So if you know what stitch this is or where I might look for it, please let me know. Thanks

Welcome to Crochetville from the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Grab your yarn and hooks, put your feet up and sit a spell.

We are always so glad to meet new friends.

Welcome to Crochetville Leisa.

That is a really pretty stitch.  Not sure what it is, almost looks like half a herringbone stitch, which I don't think exists.  Good luck in your search, if you do find the name of the stitch or what the technique is, please post it, I would be interested in trying this one.
