One of my dogs and I are a Delta Society team, and we visit an assisted living facility twice a month. A new couple moved in recently, and we went to visit yesterday. The wife was crocheting stuffed animals from an old LA pattern book. She had a cute pig and a purple stegosaurus completed and was working on the legs for what looked like another pig. Very cute! And way beyond my skill level!

And while it's not really a sighting, I'm reading Maggoddy and the Moonbeams by Joan Hess, and one of the characters at one point thinks, and I'm paraphrasing here (although it's from p. 181), "I could do this, or I could sit on the porch and crochet."
