What pattern is this?

I found this pattern in a magazine (sorry about the bad quality of the picture, but I figured most crochet "experts" would get the jist!). I'd really like to know what it is called and then I'd really like to attempt it! Can anyone help me with this pattern? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

It looks to me like the spiderweb stitch. I've been tyring to find you links and have come up with these:

Also, if you have either the Crochet Stitch Bible or the Encyclopedia of Crochet, they both have versions of that stitch in them.

That stitch is in one of the Harmony crochet guides, too, but not sure if it was in 300 Crochet Stitches or 220 More Crochet Stitches. I'm thinking it was the second one, though. I know I made something out of that stitch once and that was where I found it...
