Welcome to the 'ville!   I'm not 100% positive, but here are my guesses without swatching to confirm.

The first is a mesh and easiest, probably made top down starting with a joined round of US trebles, then following rounds something on the order of TR, chain 1, in a round.  The rounds are joined, and there appears to be an increase happening at the join, under the arm holding the bag (and possibly another on the opposite side we can't see); probably on the order of: join, chain up, make a treble, ch1, tr in the same stitch as the join, then treble in treble, chain 1, and so on.

The bottom one - It's also made top down, I'm not sure how they got that overlapped look, perhaps 2 stitches made into 1 but in reverse order; in other words, if you are right handed, you normally always work leftward across a row, but in this case make 1 stitch into 1, then make another stitch into the same stitch, but on the right side of the stitch you just made.
