Help with pattern

Hi, am Doing a basket weave pouch.

As I’m new to crochet, I’m unable to follow this row...could u help pls.

Ch2, skipping the ch2 below fpdc in each of the 80 sts around, sl st on top of the first dc to join.

FPDC is a front post double crochet stitch (US terms).  In a nutshell, a front post stitch (usually but not always DC) is made by inserting the hook around the body (post) of an indicated stitch that is located in a row below your current row, from the right front of the post, across the back of the post, and returning to the front again.
