What does sctog mean

I have a pattern that says “Rnd 7: sc, sc2tog, sctog (3)

I know what sc2tog means but I cannot find out what sctog means

Maybe a typo?  How many stitches did you start with?  The (3) at the end should be the number of stitches you should have at the end of that row, so if you started with 5 stitches, and did 1 sc, then sc2tog twice, you'd end up with 3 stitches.
