Please help identify stitch

Hello Everyone, 
I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what stitch this handbag is made with. I'm asking about the body of the bag, in black.

I've asked around at local shops, and looked through all my crochet books but I can't find it anywhere. 
I really appreciate the help, it's been driving me crazy.

hi, welcome to the ville!  the flowers are crocheted as far as I can see, but the body of the bag looks more woven to me.  do you have the bag itself or just the photo?

I believe that could be a Tunisian full stitch.

I only have this picture, but I really want the bag which is why I needed your help

I will try the Tunisian full stitch first (since weaving is not my strong suit) ans see how it goes.
