Stuck on pattern rows...

Okay, I'm stuck.

I did row 10....I'm confused on row 11 where to stitch, and row 12 seems confusing too...any advice?

Is this where you're confused? "hdc in stitch of previous row below"

 

The previous row is sc, ch1 around.  Normally, you'd insert you hook into the chain space.  However, the pattern wants you to skip over the chain space to the stitches in row 9.  You insert your hook in the top of the hdc in row 9, pull up a loop long enough for your hook to rest perpendicular on top of your work, then finish an hdc stitch.  Next ch1 over row 10's sc stitch. Repeat around.

 

Round 12 is similar, except you'll be inserting your hook in round 10's sc stitches, pulling up the loop and doing a dc.

Well I thought so, but it didn't look right. My beginning stitching start in the right place so I will end the row and start the new row in the right place.
