Lost pattern and last wishes

OK so my mother was working on this thread project just before she passed away. I have no idea what pattern it is. If any one knows please drop me a line. I have a picture of one of the pieces.

I don't recognize that pattern, but there is a resource you might try to search for it.  It's a listing of public domain books, this links to the crochet section.  It's in alphabetical order by author or publisher.  Your tiny motif was probably for a runner, tablecloth, antimaccassar (look for chair set) or bedspread, I'd do a search (ctrl F for PCs) on those terms.  There are LOTS of patterns for these items
