Great White Shark Blanket

Recommended Posts

This pattern is for a great white shark blanket, in the cocoon style, that will fit most kids.

The finished size ends up being about 4 1/2 feet from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail.
This project is worked mostly in single crochet, involves sewing pieces together with a whip stitch and does take some time to complete it but it is worth the effort in the end because you get a detailed, more realistic looking shark.
The pattern is written in American english terms and comes with a second document that includes a photo guide. The photo guide is not a step by step photo tutorial but it does include lots of pictures that show how each piece should progress throughout the pattern, what the finished pieces look like and how they should be assembled.
I suggest buying 27 oz of the grey yarn, 20 oz of the white, and a small amount of burgundy.
If you have any questions about the pattern, please contact me and I will be happy to help.
