My nephew loves sharks so I came up with this great white shark blanket for him. I wanted to make it detailed because he would pay attention to that. He just got it in the mail and has been pretending to eat his sister in her mermaid tail hehe:) Aunt spoiling mission - Complete !
This pattern is for a great white shark blanket, in the cocoon style, that will fit most kids. The finished size ends up being about 4 1/2 feet from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail. This project is worked mostly in single crochet, involves sewing pieces together with a whip stitch and does take some time to complete it but it is worth the effort in the end because you get a detailed, more realistic looking shark.
