help with poncho pattern

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a poncho pattern that I bought from etsy.

the row I am having trouble with reads:

 

ch3, turn, dc in each ch1 sp and dc across to ch 3 sp, (dc, ch 3, dc) in ch 3 sp, *dc in next dc and each ch 1 space and dc across* to ch 3 sp, (dc, ch 3, dc) in ch3 sp, repeat from * to * across, dc in last ch 1 sp

 

 

does it mean to dc in JUST the ch 1 spaces until after the dc, ch3, dc then I dc in next dc AND each ch1 space and then I repeat the dc in next dc AND each ch1 space.

 

Any help would be so appreciated.

You are going to make a solid run of DCs: 1 into each chain-1 space and also into each DC, except you will be doing something different into the chain-3 spaces.
