This is a pattern of pillow cover which I called “Lucky Quatrefoil”. Pillow cover consists of square motifs crocheted in the Overlay Crochet technique. They remind me of quatrefoils which are famous for bringing good luck to people. But at the same time they look like small butterflies as well.

The square motif can not only become a part of pillow decoration, but you can also crochet a blanket or a bag with it or just use it as an appliqué for clothes.

This easy to follow pattern of a square motif (10 pages) is written for one size. It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places and how the motifs are joined.
