Pocket Tissue Pouch?

hapahaolegirl

Question

have a question about this. After Row 1 is complete do you have 3 chs left from the foundation ch? Here's a pic of it...

I've restarted this 3 times with the same result. So am I doing this correctly? I just don't see where that little "tail" part comes into play in the finished product.

Sorry if it's a silly question but I'm still learning!

Thanks!

I haven't looked at the pattern, but I do see something a bit "odd" in your photo. It appears that you have 3 ch between your stitches, except the second one looks as if you forgot to leave the 3 ch and just stitched into the st immediately after the last stitch. I think that's where your extra 3 ch belong.

Here's the pattern:

http://www.jcrochet.com/patterns/pockettissuepouch.htm

Row 1: 1 sc in 11th chain from hook, ch 3, 1 dc in next ch, (ch 3, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch) 3 times. Turn.

I'm pretty sure I did it correctly. Unless she meant:

Row 1: 1 sc in 11th chain from hook, ch 3, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch,

Maybe? Does anyone know?

Thanks!

I haven't had a chance to work up the pattern, but I'm betting it's a typo. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the pattern the way she has it written and I can see it benefiting you any time later.
