Question
mcbuggy
Hoping someone can explain for me. Decided to do a simple dishcloth as a starter but I am confused.
Dishcloth Pattern on Lily Sugar'nCream label - reads as follows:
Ch42. Foundation row(RS)1 sc in 4th ch from hook *Ch2 miss next ch, 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to end of ch, Turn 20 loops.
1st row: Ch 3 *1 sc in next ch-2loop. Ch 2. Rep from * to last ch-2 loop. 1 sc in ch-3 loop. Turn. This row forms pat. until work measures 8 inches.
Ok, I know Ch is chain - got that
sc is single crochet - got that
but what the heck is the ch-2 loop bit?
My cousin who has croceted for years is at a loss to explain so hopefully someone here knows the answer
Cheers, and thanks
Di
