Working on an afghan and wondering what colors would you use

Hi Everyone: I was going to make a rose garden afghan for my mom.  After weeks of searching for the Red violet, I decided to go to another avenue.  The afghan is really coming along nicely, but what other color will compliment this.  I am using Caron Simply Soft yarn.

A light blue?

Maybe a darker green?

the colors you have now look good to me.

I decided to use a lighter green, followed by a darker green.  This is my 2nd afghan that I made, and so far I like how this is coming out.
