Need Help Finding Merribee Yarn For My Mom!

Hello Everyone,

 

I am trying to find a certain crochet yarn for my Mother.  It is Merribee Wintuk, 100% wintuk orlon acrylic sweater and afghan yarn.  On the package it has the number #7301, Fisherman, dye lot 136041.  Can anyone give us advice as to where we might still find this?  She has started an afghan using this yarn and can't find anything that is close enough to finish.  Need your help !

I've searched everywhere I know - even a place where people post their stashes - nothing.  That yarn was discontinued a long time ago.

 

Fisherman color can be off white, yellow white, natural color - can you describe the shade and what brands you've tried matching it with? 

 

Maybe someone can at least help you try and match what you have.

 

Worst case - can your mom add another color to finsh the afghan or is it a one piece pattern where it absolutely has to be one color?
