Help with boucle and pattern for it

I just bought a couple of skeins on JA Sensations boucle and have never used it before. I was thinking of making a shawl for donation. 

 

Could someone suggest a simple, or at least fairly simple, shawl pattern that would work with boucle. I know it should have a pretty straightforward stitch, but there are sooooooooooo many patterns, I don't know where to start.

 

Also, is there anything I should know about working with this yarn? it looks like it wouldn't frog worth a flip. Any other experience?

You definitely don't want to have to frog.

 

I love using it for my Seraphina Shawls.  The self striping is awesome.

Ah yes, I remember that one now. I thought I had saved a link, but hadn't so I hunted it down again. I'll give it a try. If I like it, I might grab more of the yarn while I can still get it.

 

The label suggests an I hook. Is that what you use with it?
