Question on tawashi and bath cloths

minster

Question

I had a cone of Sugar & Crème that I wanted to use up so I decided to make some bath puffs and tawashi's.  I am noticing that after using and rinsing them out in the shower that they are just not drying out all the way.  Does anyone else have this issue?  If anyone has used regular worsted weight yarn how to they work out?

Thanks!!

Mindy

I make a lot of bathcloths and they dry OK. I think that in part it depends on how dense your finished piece is. I try to make mine about half sc and half dc whether I choose a pattern or make it up as I go.

Also, I found I get a lot more water out of a cloth when I am done if I roll it up, then wring it out.

I've heard the bath puffs are hard to get dry. Can you hang them outdoors in the breeze somewhere?
