I am making flowers to sew onto my blanket. Where I am having trouble is the last round of the flower. I have the tr4tog st down, I am just not sure what the "into next 2 dc" means. The entire last round is this...

 

Round 4: Join B, (ch 4, tr4tog, ch 4, sl st into next 2 dc) 7 times, ch 4, tr4tog, ch 4, sl st into next dc.

So, I tried doing the tr4tog in one dc, then sl st in the next 2 dc and it does not work,  I did it 7 times like instructed and I was about half way around...any other suggestions

Did you get the ch4 after the tr 4 tog? If you forget the chains up and down, the petals won't stand up.

Ok so the problem is I have 48 dc around (which is exactly how many I am suppose to have) If I do it doing the tr4tog in one dc then sl st in two dc I am short
