The following is info I came across about a local event happening next week. It seems to be women artisans and not heavily fiber centered, but I am going to see what there is to see and find out more about them as a group to see if it might be somewhere to take my wares in the future.

 

I am going on the 6th, I think. I would hate to miss something grand by going on a subsequent date.

 

 

 

Urban Crafters Present Their Wares

October 6th, 5 to 9, and Oct. 7th & 8th, 10 am to 6pm at The

Gallery

Don't miss this gathering of women designers and artists, showcasing their

hip and unique goods at the Gallery, 6303 Beverly Hill (off Chimney Rock).

Karen Yeager - caterer, selling catering packages and featuring tastings

for small charge

Sarah Gish – publicist, selling various Diva-inspired products

Jill Wesson – selling wraps, shawls and scarves from Australia

Beth Ruiz – jewelry designer, selling jewelry with exquisite stones

Amy Finney – artisan, selling handcrafted, painted keepsake boxes

Allison Barelli – artist and designer, selling handcrafted jewelry with

precious sterling and stones, handmade cards and posters with original art

Marlene Wal – designer and knitter, selling unique purses and scarves
