Crown Mountain Farms

I just placed an order with Crown Mountain Farms after reading a review of their pencil roving on Knitter's Review.

 

Has anyone else ordered anything from them in the past?

 

I ordered some of the Corriedale pencil roving (to spin) and some hand-dyed Merino-Tencel (50/50) that I have been shopping around for. Prices were reasonable, but not cheap. We'll see how it looks when I receive it!

 

I am going to try to focus on doing some spinning this weekend. I've been neglecting my wheel lately and I'm sure DH is thinking in his head, "see, I knew if jess bought a wheel she wouldn't use it regularly..."

 

I love it, I've just been so stressed with work and (shh) knitting projects and web projects lately. So! This weekend, I will hopefully spin up a couple of ounces of some gorgeous 100% merino I bought at The Weaving Works in Seattle. I want to spin a two ply fingering-to-DK weight yarn I can use for winter socks. I hope I have about 4oz of this stuff!
