With color A

Rnd 1: 6 sc in adjustable ring (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (12)

Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (18)

Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc (24)

Rnd 5-9: sc in each sc (24)

Rnd 10: sc in next 2 sc, dec (18)

Rnd 11: sc in next sc, dec (12)

Rnd 12: change to color B, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc (16)

Rnd 4-10: change to color B, sc in each sc, on last rnd fasten off, close with drawstring method (6)

 

to join arms to body, take a piece of yarn and run it threw the inside of the arm, then threw the body, then threw the inside of other arm, the back threw the body, then tie the strands together 2-3 times.

 

Feet (Make Two)

With color C

Rnd 1: 6 sc in adjustable ring (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (12)

Rnd 3-4: sc in each sc (12)

Rnd 5: sc in next 2 sc, dec, leave a long tail for sewing to body, fold in half and sew together (9)

 

To finish gnome, sew hat to head. Sew feet to body. Stitch on eyes and mouth with black yarn. Use photo as a guide.
