Real Men Wear Pink

I am involved with an organization in Wisconsin called Real Men Wear Pink.

 

Our mission is to promote Breast Cancer awareness, as well as organize events and raise funds to benefit a local breast cancer patient or survivor who demonstrates a financial need. Our main event is an annual softball tournament in July. Last year we raised $6500 for our beneficiary. 2012 will be our 4th year.

 

Myself and another organizer learned to crochet last year and we love it. We would like to put together an afghan for our beneficiary this year. We are looking for crocheters to make one square to contribute. Please use acrylic medium weight yarn to make a 12" square. The most important requirement is PINK and anything you can do to make it unique or special.
