I love doing lace type things. I made an angel for my mom but with the new year coming in I've decided to pick up some other things. Hairpin and Broomstick. How many have done these stitches and what are your opinions? Best Hairpin loom? Any suggestions?

I took a Broomstick Lace class (3 hours) from the Stitch Diva herself, Jennifer Hansen, last August. Incredible! Anyone in northern California within driving distance of her studio would enjoy her teaching style; you come home with a project you know how to finish. :)

 

The Diva also taught at Greensboro in North Carolina, for CGOA members who attended there. Any reviews?

 

She's also in the Master Class book in the Hairpin Lace chapter. I haven't been able to make it to one of her Hairpin Lace classes yet due to schedule conflicts, but hope to in 2012.
