I've been asked to teach crocheting but I don't know what to charge. Help?

It really depends on the area, the people involved, the actual lessons to be learned, etc.

 

Most classes around here, through Hobby Lobby and the Park District charge roughly between $10-15 per hour. You don't want to price it too high that nobody signs up, or too low and you barely make anything.

 

I did take a class through my local junior college, and it was $89 for 5 classes of 1 and a half hours each.

Another thing. Is it teaching in a church, park district, or other local agency? They may only allow a certain price. Or they may charge a price, and give you a certain wage out of that money. Or they may charge for using their facility. Just some things to think about.

 

I would really consider all the facts before you say a price per lesson. I hope I helped.
