Call for Submissions: Crochet Articles

Sometime later this year, Crochetville will be updating our forum software, which will give us the additional capability to feature actual articles (as opposed to discussion threads) on our website.

 

We will be accepting submissions of crochet-related articles on any number of topics:

 

 

• Stitch tutorials
  
• Technique tutorials
  
• Book and product reviews
  
• Interviews with crocheters: professionals and hobbyists
  
• Coverage of various crochet conferences and retreats
  
• Crochet research articles
  
• Crochet humor
  
• Patterns
  
• Anything else you can think up
  

You'll receive full credit as the author, and we'll provide links to your website, and even promote any new book or pattern you may be releasing around the time we publish your article. You would give Crochetville a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish the article. We hope the exposure on our website (which is visited by an average of 330,730 unique visitors each month) would result in increased traffic to your website, which would hopefully translate into additional sales for your business.

 

While we won't be able to pay anything as we get started with this new effort, the good news is that you'll retain full copyrights to whatever you submit, so you can post it on your websites, use in your newsletters, and in any other way you wish. If you publish the article in this manner, we'd appreciate a brief link to the article here at Crochetville [as the link exchange will help SEO for both of us], but that would not be required.
