Pocket Scarf

 

Color choice of yarn

J hook

Yarn needle

 

Chain 18

Row 1 -

1 Triple/treble crochet in 5th chain from hook, 1 Triple/treble crochet

in each chain across.

Rows 2 through 6-

Turn chain 4

1 Triple/treble crochet in each stitch across row.

 

Row 7-

Turn chain 2

1 Half double crochet in back loops only of each stitch across row.

 

Row 8-

Turn chain 4

1 Triple/treble crochet in front loops only of each stitch across row.

 

Rows 9 through 60-

Turn chain 4

1 Triple/treble crochet in each stitch across row. Both loops.

 

Row 61-

Turn chain 2

1 Half double crochet in back loops only of each stitch across row.

 

Row 62-

Turn chain 4

1 Triple/treble crochet in front loops only of each stitch across row.

 

Rows 63 through 67-

Turn chain 4

1 Triple/treble crochet in each stitch across row. Both loops.

 

 

Fold Rows 1 through 6 up to meet rest of scarf and sew the sides together.

 

Fold Rows 62 through 67 up to meet rest of scarf and sew the sides together.

 

Do a decorative edge of choice around the entire scarf.

 

 

 

****Extra- Take a piece of fleece fabric 6 inches by 18 inches. Fold

in half and either sew or glue sides to make 6 inches by 9 inches.

Slip into pocket and sew or glue in.****

 

You can attach embellishments of choice to the pockets and scarf.

I am going to try and get some pics this weekend and post them.

 

As soon as I get any of them finished family and friends take off with them before I can get pics took.
